Loren W. Sheffer
Loren W. Sheffer is a 39-year veteran of the retail automobile business.
Loren started as a salesman selling cars in Eau Claire, Wisconsin immediately after graduating (cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1977.
In 1978 Loren moved to Minneapolis working for the Walser Automotive Group for five years where he sold cars, became an F&I manager, Used Car Manager and Assistant General Manager.
He left the car business in 1981 to become the National Sales Manager and later the General Manager for Aero Precision Engineering, a manufacturer of very fine machine metal parts.
In 1984, he went to work for Kjell Bergh as his Used Car Manager. Four years later, they became partners in a new Volvo Dealership in Delray Beach, Florida. In 1991 they added Volkswagen. In 2001, ten days after 9/11, Loren bought out his partner Kjell. In 2004, Loren sold his Volvo store, his Volkswagen store and his Used Car Super Store to AutoNation. In 2007, Loren opened Volvo of Fort Myers, ran it for eight years and sold out in 2015.

Loren is strongly versed in Dealership Operations, Planning, Employee Retention, C.S.I., S.S.I., R.O.I. and inventory control, as well as Leadership and Business Development. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, holds a certificate in Total Quality Management from the Kano Institute at the University of Miami, a certificate in T.Q.M. from Dr. Frank Haas, and is currently completing his M.B.A. from Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida.
Loren is married to his wife, Monika and has four children. He currently lives in Stillwater, Minnesota.
